What is GSIRF?

About GSIRF

GSIRF is a pioneering state-level institutional rating initiative developed by the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG) — an Education Department initiative of the Gujarat Government — in partnership with ICARE (Indian Centre for Academic Rankings & Excellence), India's most trusted institution ranking and rating authority.

The framework employs a highly credible and transparent methodology wholly based on objective data. ICARE audits, assesses, and rates institutions with a clear focus on outcomes — helping academic leaders identify areas of improvement and achieve excellence at regional, national, and global levels.
